“Since 2009 when I was Chairman of Bauer and when I first attempted to acquire The Hockey News, I envisioned an annual special issue of The Hockey News focusing entirely on the business of hockey. I finally succeeded in January 2018 and my first order of business as owner and Publisher was to put the wheels in motion to release the first annual Money and Power issue in January 2019,” says W. Graeme Roustan, owner and publisher of The Hockey News.

Rounding out the top 5 are;  Auston Matthews (2), Jeremy Jacobs (3), Connor McDavid (4) and Craig Leipold (5).

The special edition also has extended features on the NHL’s business model, the 31 NHL team owners, the big three hockey agencies, NHL sponsorships, the issues at hand when the collective bargaining agreement expires in 2020, and more.

As part of an exclusive video series of Q&As with some of the game’s most powerful people, Roustan sat down with Bettman to talk about the HHOF, the NHL’s trillion-dollar impact and more.
