Labor Attorney Assesses Viability of Elizabeth Holmes' Legal Defense

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed attorney and HR consultant Hessam Parzivand. Parzivand is a regular on the Price of Business show.

Price and Parzivand take a look at the legal defense being used by Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced former CEO and founder of Theranos (image from the Way Back Machine, the site is no longer active). The former CEO has several charges of wire fraud against her and faces the possibility of several decades in prison if convicted.

CNN reports “Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced founder and former CEO of Theranos whose criminal trial is set to begin in a matter of days, is likely to defend herself by claiming she was the victim of a decade-long abusive relationship with her ex-boyfriend, also a former Theranos executive, court documents reveal.”

Parzivand looks at the viability of such a defense.
