On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interview Gunnar Dedio and Lucio Mollica about their powerful documentary on Curiosity Stream.

They discussed the series, “Afghanistan. The Wounded Land” (Curiosity Stream), which looks at 4 decades of Afghan history through incredible archives and interviews with Soviet and US generals, Taliban, and ordinary Afghans, to understand what went wrong in a country trapped in an endless war. The series is narrated by Afghan-American novelist Khaled Hosseini.

GUNNAR DEDIO grew up in the former GDR. Few years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, he founded LOOKSfilm, which today is one of Europe´s most successful production companies. Most LOOKS films, documentaries, and series show history from different perspectives and with impressive archive footage. He is the executive producer of the series.

LUCIO MOLLICA is an Italian filmmaker. He began his career at MTV and collaborated with Anthony Bourdain for the series No Reservations. Today he lives in Berlin, where he directs and produces award-winning political documentaries for a global audience. He is the showrunner of the series.
