In any given month there can be more deaths in the city of Chicago than in spree killings around the country in a single year. In fact, Chicago has, by far, the highest violence rates (including homicide) of any city in the United States. Many point to gun control laws that make it difficult for law biding citizens to be armed and makes criminals see their neighbors as easy targets.
With that, it should be no surprise that a judge in Chicago would go through the grueling process to become armed. From what we can see in the video below, he’s also dangerous.
